The Clark–Subic Bay–Bataan Familiarization Tour (FAMTOUR), held from October 16–19, 2026, was initiated to strengthen partnerships between Taiwan tourism stakeholders and Philippine tourism organizations while promoting the Clark–Subic Bay–Bataan route as a connected travel experience.

In collaboration with local government units (LGUs) and tourism industry partners, the four-day journey showcases Central Luzon’s diverse attractions, cultural heritage, outdoor adventures, and hospitality experiences. Through firsthand destination visits and hotel familiarization, the FAMTOUR highlights the potential of connecting Clark, Subic Bay, and Bataan into a multi-destination itinerary for international travelers, particularly the Taiwan market.

A Collaborative Effort to Promote Central Luzon Tourism

The Clark–Subic Bay–Bataan FAMTOUR brings together tourism organizations, hospitality establishments, and travel partners to strengthen Taiwan–Philippines tourism partnerships and promote the region as a connected travel destination.

The partners featured in the initiative include Best Western Plus Metro Clark, La Jolla, Le Charmé Hotels, Casa Veranda by Le Charmé Hotels, and STARLUX Airlines, alongside the Department of Tourism – Region 3 Office and the Hospitality Alliance of the Subic Bay Freeport Zone.

Together with local government units and tourism stakeholders, these partners contribute to efforts to showcase Central Luzon’s attractions and hospitality experiences. The participation of hotels, resorts, and an airline highlights the importance of collaboration across the tourism and travel industries in raising destination awareness and promoting the region to international visitors.

The itinerary also demonstrates how hospitality partners connect the three destinations. Best Western Plus Metro Clark welcomes participants in Clark, Le Charmé Suites provides the accommodation and familiarization experience in Subic Bay, and La Jolla Hotel & Beach Resort hosts the group in Bataan.

Through this collective effort, the FAMTOUR showcases how regional cooperation can bring together attractions, accommodation, and travel experiences to support a more connected Central Luzon tourism offering.

Strengthening Taiwan–Philippines Tourism Connections

Beyond the four-day itinerary, the FAMTOUR supports a broader objective: strengthening tourism partnerships between Taiwan and the Philippines while promoting greater awareness of Central Luzon’s destinations.

Through firsthand destination visits, hotel familiarization, and industry engagement, participants gain a closer look at what Clark, Subic Bay, and Bataan offer and how these destinations can complement one another in a multi-stop Philippine itinerary.

The initiative also complements the broader tourism and investment vision discussed in Clark–Subic Bay–Bataan: Taiwanese Investment and Tourism Gateway. While the earlier article explores the region’s wider tourism and investment potential, this FAMTOUR focuses on the actual destinations, attractions, and hospitality experiences that bring the route to life.

Through continued collaboration among Taiwan tourism stakeholders, Philippine tourism organizations, local government units, and private-sector partners, the initiative aims to strengthen destination promotion and support tourism development across Central Luzon.

From Clark’s golf and leisure attractions to Subic Bay’s forest trails, cultural encounters, and marine adventures, and Bataan’s heritage and beaches, the Clark–Subic Bay–Bataan FAMTOUR 2026 highlights the value of connecting destinations through firsthand experiences and stronger tourism partnerships.
